Government Proposals target Gypsies and Travellers

Following the announcement by the Secretary of State for Communities Eric Pickles that he is proposing new planning powers to give local authorities the right to issue unlimited fines and stop notices to Gypsies and Travellers and the appointment of Brandon Lewis as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for DCLG with responsibilities for Travellers, we are attaching our response for your information.
