FFT Awards 2024 now open for nominations!

Today, FFT is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for Friends, Families and Travellers Awards 2024, honouring the achievements of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people from across the communities. To make a nomination, click here.

Nominations will close on the 15th February 2024.

We’re holding these awards to honour inspiring individuals from Romany, Irish Traveller,  Scottish Gypsy/Traveller, Welsh Gypsy and Traveller, Roma, Showman, New Traveller and Liveaboard Boater communities across Britain, who have made special contributions to wider society and to their own communities.

The awards will be judged across six categories:

  • Inspirational Young Person Award
  • Arts, Culture and Heritage Award
  • Sporting Excellence Award
  • The Education Award
  • Inspiring Project Award
  • Alexander Award for Lifetime Achievement

The awards will be held on the 25th April 2024, at the Brighthelm Centre, in Brighton.
