On Tuesday 5th December, Friends, Families and Travellers (FFT) were awarded a Silver prize at The Training Journal Awards for our E-Learning Online Cultural Awareness Training in the ‘Best-not-for-profit’ category.
Over 500 sponsors, guests and finalists attended the ceremony which celebrates and rewards ingenuity, creativity, passion and hard work in workplace learning and development professionals around the world.
We would like to congratulate The Alzheimer’s Society who won Gold on the night for their ‘Organisational Values and Behaviours’ training.
Sarah Mann, Co-Director of Friends, Families and Travellers said:
“We were absolutely delighted to receive the silver award for ‘Best not-for-profit’ programme at the Training Journal Awards. One of the core aims of FFT is to engage with other service providers and agencies and to promote cultural awareness about Gypsy and Traveller communities. We are thrilled that our E-learning package has been recognised for its innovation and accessibility. We hope that the course will continue to encourage positive working practices with Gypsy and Traveller communities.”
