There is a general election on 8th June 2017 which decides which political party governs the country. Voting gives you a say in how the country is run. The different political parties have different policies that effect Gypsies and Travellers, such as site provision and planning, so it is important to use your vote and have your say.
You need to register to vote by 22nd May 2017.
If you have an address – You can register to vote on line – you can even do this on a smart phone and it only takes around 5 mins.
If you do not have a permanent address – You can still vote. Complete a form to register.
