#Part4NoMore: Campaign launched calling for the repeal of Part 4 of the PCSC Act

Today, Friends, Families and Travellers (FFT) launched #Part4NoMore, a national campaign calling for the repeal of Part 4 of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts (PCSC) Act 2022.

Parliament is currently debating a new Crime and Policing Bill. As the Bill makes its way through Parliament, there is a chance to repeal Part 4 of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act (PCSC) 2022. Part 4 has effectively criminalised trespass and given police sweeping powers to fine, imprison, and seize the homes of Gypsy and Traveller families.

We say no more. We’re asking Gypsies, Travellers and allies to use our easy tool to write to your MP, with the whole process taking less than 2 minutes, and ask to scrap this cruel approach and focus on real solutions—providing more sites and stopping discrimination.

#Part4NoMore aims to restore justice and push for inclusive, rights-based solutions.

No one should face losing their home simply for having nowhere legal to stop.
